Question gearbox

hi all
im after a new gearbox,my code is ty752vn5ba.will a box with code ty752vn4ba work and fit without any problems?

Both UK boxes so should be no problems in a UK car. Have a look here The SPDA - Transmission Chart

Check with an expert like API David first.

What is wrong with the existing box? Had mine repaired in Peterborough for £430 (new bearings and synchros), which is £70 cheaper than most breakers are asking for a used, untested box.

Expensive but at least you are fitting a known quantity with some guarantee that it will work after all the time and/or expense of fitting.

thanks for that,2nd gear has gone.iv found a reconditioned box from MR ENGINE for £410 all in,gauranteed to fit ,bloomin better work.

i would use them with extreme caution as someone on here bought an auto box of them turned out to be not in working condition.

Ouch! Takes me 6 to 7 hours to replace a gearbox and clutch by myself. Would hate to go thru all that pain to find it don't work and I've got to do it all again....

im keeping my fingers crossed,it was meant to be here today,called them at 4.30 to find its not been posted yet,he assures me il get it tomorow.hope so.
