Goin on holiday next week in the scooby but went to start the car today it started for about 3-5 seconds then cut out and now wont start for anything!
Ive checked the fuses connections and general things, Ive removed the fuel pump and it works fine when a live and earth are connected, i cant connect it up to any code readers due to the simtec ecu so am realy getting quite worried dont want to have to cancel my holiday its my first one in a couple of years.

is it possible that it could be an issue with the immobiliser?

 

I was thinking that but it seems to turn of as normal and the car turns over but just wont fire?

 

hi,on the first turn of the key can you hear the fuel pump running and pressurizing the fuel system?
