Default Nuts!

Hi guys, I know its a wheel question but it takes ages for a reply

Just bought some nice Inovite Redlines from a member on here. A great price and they look perfect. Problem is that I fitted one using my origional nuts from my MY99. These nuts don't fit properly and took a very fine shaving of alloy off when done up. Where can I get some nuts that fit!

Cheers in advance for your help, I just want to get them fitted

There is a group buy on here for D1 Spec Light Weight wheel nuts in a choice of colours, have a look in the group buy section.

For ordinary deep coned steel nuts try PRI racing. you need M12x1.25 with 60deg taper seat, stock code D2.

Buy Nut - Taper M12x1.25, 19mm hex by PRI Racing Ltd. buy online

Thank you all for your replies, its very interesting the amount some of these 'nuts' cost! D1CCY, are these nuts the exact same size as the other nuts? Obviously these will be heavier but surely it won't make any difference.
I really want the wheels on asap but I don't want to damage them.

Yes they're just steel and not the expensive lightweight anodised alloy. I use these for track with 3 different sets of wheels. I find them more practical as the alloy ones tend to go tight here and there if cleanliness not carefully observed. I think the steel ones are about 50gm heavier than alloy so about 0.25 kg per wheel, I've used alloy ones in the past and I can't tell the difference.
