Sat on the motorwy today at 70mph and every now and again it would kind of miss a beat or kind of choke itself but only slightly but once i had noticed it it bugs me now i don't use it on motorways much!! Any one got any clues?

My Classic used to do the same. Switching to 99RON cured it for me. If that doesn't work, get a diagnostic check done. If you have the patience to look back 3 or 4 years on here, you'll find plenty of posts. The common conclusion was that it was a characteristicof the car. Don't let people panic you into replacing MAFs coilpacks etc unecessarily. Bob

 

Ok right o, I'll give the fuel switch a go. I've only just changed the maf i did have one bad lead not so long back the rest seamed fine but might change them all! cheers Bob
