Default Classic MY99 Exhaust advice needed

Just scrapped through MOT told backbox and centre cat need replacing.

I like the PPP exhaust set up and know that it is not too load in the car or for the neighbours.

Thing is i dont want to pay £130 + for a 10 year old prodrive back box.

I have seen the TSL Group N and the scoobysport BB and centre pipes, are these close as i can get to the PPP system or are there other alternitives?

I use my car everyday, so no of the super jap race full de-cat systems and set ups will do.

I recently bought this package from Scoobyworld:

Impreza Turbo 1993-2000 Classic : Subaru Impreza Cat-Back / Catback Exhaust System Ninja, RaceBox and Afterburner

Decat and Racebox backbox.

I was worried about the noise too, but this one is just right for me, and the de-cat has certainly made a difference.

I would recommend it.

thanks for the info looking into these systems, the racebox decat pack at scoobysport seems a good price.

hi

just thought i'd let you no i have full decat from turbo with a tsl 4" group n backbox and its not to loud off boost 60-70mph is ok but by hell does it sound nice on full chat i was really surprised how quiet it is on low revs you wont be dissapointed with the tsl backbox.

the Magnex system isn't too loud, the 6x4 oval backbox has a nice rumble but pretty quiet on the motorway.

Your other option would be to go to Milltek or Longlife & get them to make you one to your specs.

does anyone know if it is better to get the centor pipe with or without a resonator?

Does anyone know what the PPP centre pipe was?
