Default Bosch 044 Fuel Pump

Has anybody used this fuelpump in his classic yet?
The guys on Nasioc like them much more than the Walbros and I think I have a little problem with the Walbro as well and thought of swapping it towards a Bosch 044 pump.
I have been told that I need a Bosch 040 fuelpump to fit it into the tank, the 044 is for external use only...

Mrs Drumsterphil is running an in tank 044 motorsport in her RB5. They're noisy but reliable and give awesome fuel pressure (10bar pump). Bosch also do a 6bar non-motorsport 044 too.

I think you will find that the 044 is the 6 bar pump.

The 10 bar pump is this one..

Which is the Bosch Motorsport Prodrive pump (retail from RCM for around £400)

The 044 (6 bar) is less than half the price.
