anyone now for sure if a td05 turbo off a 94' sti will fit straight onto a 95 wrx?

should be a direct replacement for the top entry TD04, yes. You will need it mapped in tho....

Edit: Shouldn't a 95 JDM have a TD05 anyway?

Ye sorry should have said the one thats on my wrx is blowing blue smoke so looking for a replacement, how much should i be looking at for a re-map? i guess it'll perform better coz its off an sti?!

i believe the turbo is the same just diffrent boost if you are replacing the standard td05h 16g with another there is no need for a remap, the earlyer post was going on the asumption that you had a smaller td04 and was planning an upgrade

if your replacing a TD05 with a TD05 - it'll be a straight swap. No remap needed. Pain in the **** to change tho, I did mine on sunday. Stress levels were at an ultimate maximum!
