Default Bonnet cable snapped

Took my car down to get fluids changed for service and got a phone call 20 mins later saying they can't do my service due to the bonnet release cable snapping.
How the hell can I open the bonnet now to replace the cable
Not being funny but if anyone can help I would rather a PM was sent as would hate for the wrong people to know how it's done if it can be done.
Regards Andy

if it snapped when they had it then they should fix the damage they've done! .

If it's broken in the cabin then just pull it with pliers, but I'm sure they would have thought of that. Can't be of any more help as I have no idea, sorry and good luck!

It has snapped at the bonnet catch end, it was my mates garage who was doing me a favour and TBH it would have snapped anyway whoever pulled it. Going to ring the RAC tomorrow and see if they can help just thought they're might have been away round it, was told to pull the grille out but I don't want to damage the car as it's just been painted.

lol, I know that's why I put the shifty-eyes smiley in there

You might be able to open it if you take the grille out - proably can be done without damaging anything but the grill. possibly could do it by jacking the car up and reaching from underneath? but only if you have more space than my legacy under the bonnet and small arms/hands???

Good luck!
