Default Engine Oil

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what kind of oil should be going into the engine of a 2005 WRX? Also reccomendations for a decent brand of oil at a decent price?

Thanks.

No expert myself, but I read a lot before changing my oil a few weeks ago and can to the conclusion that a 03 WRX would be good with a fully synthetic 5w/40 or 10w/40

Used expensive motul stuff from oilman as my car goes on quite a few tracks!
