Hi Baz, if your going to de cat then do it and then have the ECU remapped. You can have this done via a reputable mapper. Use one of the mappers who come recommended on here. Simon aka JGM (Jolly Green Monster) will even travel to you, just email him and I am sure he can advise you on what it will cost. The increase in power and torque will amaze you and will totally transform your car.

a dawes device will control the boost fine (pick them up for £20)
a remap is always best option for the car (even with the cat on the car will be better smoother after have a remap) ...(standard maps are pretty crap.....but relatively safe)

He's talking about a £10000 car not a £250 **** box.
If you want more power then do it properly!
If you got lots of money then its best to get everything done all at once if you have a figure in your head that your gonna stop at.
Personally 350bhp is plenty in a blob eye and easily to get to and not too expensive.
The main reason I say 350 is cos thats the limit of your standard turbo.
Any to get 350 bhp your best off starting with.....
Full decat exhaust from the turbo back (can get these second hand from the for sale section)
Ported headers and ported uppipe
Induction kit
Wahlbro fuel pump
Maybe a boost controller
Ecotek Remap (by someone recommended only!!)
