Just bought a new scoob type r, and there is apparantly a tracker fitted! Does anyone know of a way to find out which make it is? or even where it is likely to be located on the car? Any help appreciated!

 

phone tracker and give them your reg number and they might be able to tell you

 

yeah tried that, they said it wasn't registered with them. So must be a different company, if I could find the actual device im hoping the name would be written on that, but have no idea where to begin to look for it!

 

They hide them in afew different places such as by the rear lights, in the doors, up behind the dash.. not always easy to find eather as some a quite small

 

Ive got an instalation certificate which the insurance company wanted a copy of before insuring me.Maybe get in contact with the seller if possible. I'd check in the footwells under the carpets, under centre console etc. Try looking for wiring thats seperate from the original loom and trace back.
I know its not much but hope it helps.
