Hey guys
Been having a lot of trouble with my fuel pipes recently. They all seem to be perished so keep splitting and leaking! Every time i fix one leak i get another a few days later!!! So I've decided before the MOT ill replace them all to solve the problem. I thought id try to make it look good so was going to put stainless braided pipe on with screw on or push on fittings (i know most of its hidden but that's me!).
What pipe and fittings do i need? Also wheres the best place to get them from?
thanks

Try your local pirtek, they can usually make them up. My mate across in Swindon works for Pirtek and he is going to make me some up with aeroquip style fittings

Cheers for that guys
What size pipes do i need (-6?). Also how do i attach them to things like the fuel filter and pump as these are just held on with jubilee clips?

I'm not sure of the pipe gauge, or the fasteners at the pump end. Certainly at the filter they are jubilee type connectors, but if you are going for braided hoses try and get aeroquip style fastenings as they will look much more professional

My mate who works for Pirtek suggested this for me and hopefully he have them made when I see him in a couple of weeks. I suspect that the fasteners he is getting will be jubilee clips with an aeroquip style cover - once I get them I'll let you know.
this is what i was looking at getting
Stainless Steel Braided Petrol Hose | Fuel & Oil Hose | Demon Tweeks Motorsport, Motorcycle, Car Modifying, Parts and Accessories,Sparco, Arai

That will work fine, as I said I think the aeroquip style fittings I'm getting will just cover the jubilee style fittings on those and finish it off nicely
