Unhappy trouble code p2433

hi
i know what this code means, that the secondary air injection system
air/flow pressure sensor circuit is high,has any body had this problem?
do not know what the sensor looks like,or where it is.
any help would be appreciated very much

I am guessing you have an 06 or 07 car.

I had this issue a couple of times before I eventually binned the whole air injection, emissions fooling system. Couldnt find a proper solution to it apart from binning it and switching the CEL's off in the map.

thank you duncan thats great,i knew that americans take it off i was a bit worried about taking it off incase it failed the emissions test,will take it off on weekend.thank you for your help

you will need to make up some blanking plates for the back of the heads where the air pipes lead into the heads.

You will get a shed load of CEL's afterwards - but they are easy to switch off in the map.

Question trouble code p2433

hello again
could you remove a fuse to isolate air injection system
and leave the system in place why is it necessary to remove it and blank off the holes in the engine, you were correct its an 06

No fuse to remove - the only way to switch it off is through the map. Where are you based ?
