Default is my wr1 engine good?

hi i bought a damaged wr1 engine about a year ago. it had been hit on the crank pulley which was broken and the sprocket underneath it was also damaged. i bought the engine to use the heads and the ecu on a closed deck block but as i removed the crank sprocket i realised that the crank actually turns and the pistons move up and down fine. the valves are also fine as they all open and close fine when the cam shafts are turned. could there be an other damage or am i a lucky &@*D?
thanx

Does it turn over smoothly all the way around, it could of bent the crank slightly, if it has you will get a tight spot? I would strip it down inspect it and and freshen it up with new bearings at the very least though.
