Has anyone had a knocking problem on a 06 sti?
my car has developed a knocking on the front drivers side i narrowed it down to what i thought was the suspension mount so i spent my saturday changing it only to find when i had finished that it was just as bad
I have had it up on a mot ramp to check all bushers ect with the shacker plates nothing obvious
I am now stupped and proper pissed off with it now
any help will be greatly appreciated

 

is it nainly reversing? mine knocks from the back! had 2 set of struts on it and 2 set of mounts under warranty, and is still knocking. it is so annoying!

 

does it going backwards or forwards up to about 30mph then stops, sounds like a loose piece of metal knocking against something solid
