Are you fitting a cold air feed to get cool air into the filter?

Remap or there's a chance the engine will lean out on boost, and that's not good

And don't forget to sort out some heat shielding, otherwise you'll be sucking in hot air

The remap will possibly get you more power, the I/K won't. Your money, your car, your choice, but there are more beneficial mods.

Keep standard airbox and add a panel filter IMO.

Mine had a much more sluggish pickup with a cone filter fitted. filter was in engine bay though so may differ for a filter mounted in inner wing

do you need a remap if you just fit a panel? surely not. I'm about to purchase too so would love to hear if people think the difference between cone and panel is no that much.

No remap required for a panel filter. You may well lose power by fitting an unshielded cone filter.

Panel filter all day long, no remap required, less agro to put in and the air box only becomes restrictive towards 400bhp.

Cone filter will require a remap for sure, anything that alters induction or exhaust gas flow should have a remap without a doubt!

Induction kits are a waste of money untill you go big power.

If you have money to burn you should fit a panel filter and remap anyway to get the most out of your car
