Now that you want to help, please can you read the below

Good evening ladies and gents, yet another question for you lot.... sorry..... I'm just not a mechanic!

Went to southampton today for a bit of a run and to see family, which was fine but on the way back the car would drop revs and cut out twice when my foot was on the clutch, when I thought what have I done differently from going there to coming back all I could come up with was having the lights on, so at the next round about, foot on clutch, car about to stall I turnt the lights off and the revs picked back up and it idled just fine???

this was also a pain as I had the traffic police sat behind me all the way from Salisbury back.... and had to keep revving the engine to stop it from dying....

Can I ask what are your thoughts on this?

Thanking you kindly

Check alternator charging voltage, it should be around 13 - 14.5 volts.
