hi all
today hit a pot hole and now i get a really bad knocking from the rear left hand side. every slight bump i hit now seems to knock. i then went round a roundabout about 20mph (chafford hundred pub roundabout, essex for those who know the area, that isnt fast) and the rear end kicked out completly unexpectedly. any suggestions. i seem to be having a really bad car week

 

top mounts or broken suspension spring?

 

the car doesnt seem to have dropped so i think thats ruled out the spring but its to dark to look now. pushing down on the rear also still seems rock solid and i cant hear any knocking this way

 

I would guess at a broken spring.. get it on a ramp and have a look..
