Hi guys, as the title says, is the bonnet ally or steel?

Reason I ask is that the car is in for repair after a non fault bump and the body shop is going to fix the minor damage (Little dent) to the bonnet and they have said that it is steel... I always thought that it was ally??

I know that the wings are ally but...

Anyone know for definite?

Aluminium, wings are steel though.

hmmm weird.. magnet wont stick to the wings but seem too to the bonnet??

Perhaps the magnut was sticking to the frame under the bonnet??
