I had a very similar problem.
I've got an MY05 UK STI which was remapped by Andy Forrest about 1.5 years ago.
Since then I've had 2 flat batteries and both times suffered idle problems.
I sent Andy an email, and he replied that basically I should give the idle control value a clean and do a cold start and let it idle without touching the throttle.
He says it needs to relearn how to idle again.

I just drove it for a while until it stopped stalling to be honest.
I just thought that I better ask some questions as to why it's doing this.

would not have messed about tying to adjust the ivac to be honest, check all the vac pipes mostly around the ivac ect.. were you have worked(may have knocked one/something) also as said above ecu will need learn time as amount of time without power and if ever a sensor/part was going to fail or play up (poss ivac) after being without power then being re-powered is very poss

could the turbo inlet pipe cause this??
I checked mine and where it goes onto the turbo have perished away with oil.
Would that mean it would not register correct air flow causing bad/lumpy idle??

Cheers Ross
