Default missfire on full boost?

hi there i drive a 99 uk 2000 and ive modded it with the following-fmic,255 fuel pump, tdo5 16g turbo, induction kit, full 2.5"stainless with de-cat, i have just had a ecu-tek remap and it made 330bhp/301fbt. however later on the day of the map i noticed a ever so slight misfire when on full boost (1.5bar). now 3 days later the problem is getting worse the misfire is more noticable but still only when on full boost i have changed the plugs today for peace of mind but still no joy. it happens in every gear bar 1st. any advice would be great cheers danny

i had this with my00 uk after adding vf35 & mapping running 330/303 i changed coil pack & fitted new pfr7's and gaped them both at 0.7 & 0.65 still missing only above 20ish psi i sorted mine with better ht leads get rid of the 7mm ones and get some 10mm i think it is due to having the one sided coil pack so 2 leads are longer than the other 2 ????? but it worked for me

Worth changing the leads as above. Whilst they usually last for years, the insulation can break down making it appear the plugs or coil pack is at fault.

If you still have the old spark plugs, look at the base where the ceramic meets the metal base (the hex section which the socket fits over) and see if there is any pitting: If there is, this is usually caused by arcing where the spark jumps past the spark plug straight to the base. This usually indicates duff plugs (or wrong gap/temp range) accompained by a plug lead with poor insulation.
