Default tappin into the sump

hi, i am in the mid of some big mods and have moved the turbo to a lower area, so i need to tap in to the sump for the oil return. can i remove the sump by losening off the engine mounts bolts and jack the engine up on the gearbox? will there be enough room to remove it, if anyone has done this pics would be good, cheers phil.

i have done it the way you describe but you must also remove one of the exhaust heat sheilds and one of the exhaust header bolts (not too bad if soaked in wd40). then you have to wiggle is past the oil cooler.

Would be easier to use a banjo bolt and fitting to replace the sump drain plug - save trying to drop the sump and drill/tap/remove the swarf from it.

i thought it would be possible, just thought id throw the question up, the oil return from the turbo has to drop in under no pressure so going in at the sump drain wouldnt be any good, thanks though.
