Default Temp Sensor????

Since owning MY95 WRX the temp guage has never worked, moves very slightly when the fans come on but thats it, I have a secondary temp gauge fitted but I really want to get the proper one working.

Where is the sender for the gauge located if there is one?

My Apexi PFC reads the water temp ok so I am a little confused as to why the gauge doesnt work????

Any help would be great

Could be that the gauge is problematic or it could be the sensor and you will find yours here>>>>

Forgot to mention the temperature sensor for your gauge is actually on the right there on the water pipe.

Please note the sensor on the left on the water pipe is the engine management temperature sensor and does not operate the gauge.

Hope that helps.

The right hand side of that photo is the driver side (UK right) wing

The top of that picture is the front of the car.

The sensor is drivers side and at the very back. Just look for the big coolant pipe mate you cannot miss it.
