Hi guys,
Engine purchased will turn about 90 degrees then stop with a clonk.

removed timing belt, all cams set so valves are up but crank still win not turn all the way around??

Clonk seems to be from the fight hand side looking at it from the crank pully side.

 

just found out no 4 piston isnt going up and down :-( poss broke con rod?

Yea found the rod snapped, crank and bottom end shattered :-( ,

 

Well, if ever there was a perfect time to go seriously forged...... .

500+ bhp project car, perhaps?
