The fuel just cuts out I think when you hit a ton ten. Never did reach that point as I've got a kid who needs her daddy. Acceleration-wise I still get stuck to the seat every time I accellerate.

Imports are generally limited to 112 Mph... There is a sensor on speedo which stops car going any faster... there are two different types electronic and a one that is on speedo cabel usually on plder models.
Price is round about £100 although can be done cheaper this is with parts and labour... My WRX Import had sensor on speedo cabel took about 45 mins to get part fitted..

It is all based around an old gentlemens law in Japan.
No car should produce more than 280ps or be capable of more than 112mph straight from the manufacturer.
Hence the 'aftermarket tuners' like Nismo and STi, etc... This is another way of getting past the law.
Said car is sold from Nissan to Nismo and onsold by Nismo. You are the first owner on the paper but the second owner really.
Stops the whole thing turning into a school mufti day with everyone trying to outdo each other. It would collapse the industry in no time if it got out of hand.
