Exclamation LOOKING TO BUY NEED ADVISE

Looking to buy a 2003-4 sti blobeye but would like to know what are the common faults on these car?
How to notice these problems and to stay away from them?
What are the normal repair costs of the common problems?
Also read some threads but like to get as much advise before I buy as I have my insurance quote sorted just looking for the car.

service history receipts first.if none be very carefull as when these cars brake
you end up losin a grand if lucky.if highly moded walk away as if something goes wrong you will have no idea whats on the car and how to fix plus most moded ones are all set up wrong as people stick all the toys on but then dont get it set up cause that coss £500-£600.take someone who nose scoobys in your area.

Thumbs up

nice one big chap. just trying to get as much advice as possible so i dont make any mistakes in buying. I know if you buy a shagged scooby you could be in for a big repair bill.
I used to own a S reg subaru impreza turbo 2000 uk spec but the bottom end went on the car and that was expensive to fix and time of the road. Dont want anything to go wrong. Are the blobeye engine stronger than the older classic subarus.:c onfused:

ANYONE!!!!!!
