backfire on boost

Default backfire on boost

classic wrx its popping on boost sounds like its backfiring any help would be great?

are you running a full decat? these cars do pop a bit anyway if it seems excessive best to get it checked out by a specialist

ye full decat but its not like that kind of pop its like its quickly backfiring poping then carry on with boost and it does it again boost has dropped to a bar

closest specialist is about 300 miles away on top of 3 hour ferry trip

mine does that too between gear changes if i put me boot down,just had a full decat put on myself

I have a full decat on mine and it does this to but mine is when I'm slowing down and coming off boost

ye once you hit boost it backfires and it loses a we bit of power its only on boost it happens

yeah but that's normal, at least with a decat it is. Or in my case I still have all teh cats but it pops on LPG
