classic exhausts
Are all classic exhausts interchangeable between different models i.e will a wrx or s.t.i one fit on a turbo 2000 ?
Also are 2 door and 4 door ones interchangeable aswell ? I 'm asking as i bought one recentley off e-bay that was supposed to be for a classic but it doesnt fit. I've fitted the turbo downpipe fine, the gearbox mount and everything fits correctly but when i've fitted the centre pipe and backbox onto their hangers there's a 4-5 inch gap where the centre pipe should meet the downpipe.
I have tried ringing and texting the geezer i bought it off but he isnt answering or texting me back, which makes me think he knew it wouldnt fit.
Also i did see the back of his car and it wasnt a classic ( he said he had a classic aswell as a track car )not sure what shape it was though as i wasnt paying attention.
So if it is for a newer shape would it almost fit apart from being 4-5 inches too short or are they a different shape completely.
