decat,lamba sensor,induction kit?
hi
all just decatted my 95 wrx with hayward & scott bell mouth down pipe but the hole for the lamba sensor is a lot bigger?do i get different sensor or adapter to fit original or blank it off altogether?
have heard induction kits on early turbos knacker the maf sensor is this true?

the sensor you are talking about is the cat on fire sensor just disconnect and forget about, the hole at the top of the down pipe is where the lambda sensors are fitted on later models, your lambda is down on the o,s,f corner of the headers

Yeah as said, the sensor in the d/p is now obsolete as you have no cat, the lambda is in the drivers manifold
The early MAF's are the strongest but fitting a IK will not give you any extra horses as you will be drawing in warm under bonnet, you may indeed lose power IMHO it is best to stick with the OE airbox and fit a KnN or Green panel filter
You my get overboost when the decat is fitted I did
