Are super chips any good the garage say they can achive an extra 38 to 40 hp out of my 02 wrx, ive heard they just increase the boost to 18psi from 14psi is this safe on the engine

 

No and NO. Don't even think about it.

 

no save up and get it mapped propperly, all there going to do is fit 25 quids worth of gear to your car and turn the boost up

These basically fool the ecu into think they are running standard boost although the boost has been increased..

therefore fueling is for standard boost..

that equals melted piston
