how can i tell which engine?????
i have an 2.5 engine which has "EJ25" stamped in it. how can i tell which version it is??????

you checking for a nikasil block ? if i remember right there should be a tear drop shapped plate bolted to the block hope that helps

i just want to see if it came out of an sti or something else. as there are a few different versions.

i could take some but its still in a 2002 wrx running. all i can see is the EJ25 stamp. cheers.
