There is a company down the road from me called BHP, they fit superchips. Or remap. Does anyone know what there like, the reckon they will get another 39bhp and 84nm of torque, as the car is with the cat still on. thats better than the prodrive ecu i was looking at.

If your after a new engine get one fitted

 

if you want a superchip do it the cheap way get a bleed valve and FCD and save the £300 ish pounds for your rebuild.

Basicaly they set your boost at figure and thats it A dawes device can be had for £40?? That can be fitted and tweaked to better peak and safer??? than a superchip.

If you want to modify your car there is a wealth of imformation on this site JUST don't buy a superchip

I'd say go ask them exactly what they are offering. If your car is V1 to V4 I'd recommend a Simtek or Apexi (or similar) plug and play ECU mapped properly by someone who does a lot of it. If it's a V5 onwards, you can have your original ECU mapped using Ecutek, again by someone who does a lot of it!
Cheap options are just that. Cheap.
We use Superchips for turbo diesels, using a flash system, which can be a very good option. The only thing the company offers for Imprezas is an electronic FCD, which I wouldn't consider using.
