Manifold insulators & Parallel fuel mod
Can you still get those manifold spacers that were being sold on here a while ago? They seemed to work did they not - just looking to reduce temps and thought they were a good idea.
Also, assuming the spacers can be bought and I get them, I guess while the manifold is off I could change the fueling to parallel - again as a safety thing more than anything else.
How hard is it do to - never had the manifold off myself before.

You can get the spacers from here and I would also recommend the header tank spacers too:
Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply

It is quite a fiddly job to get the inlet manifold off as there as lots of pipes connected to it but a very worthwhile mod. You will also need four gaskets 2 for each spacer.
In regards to the parallel fuel rail, you will need some fuel hose and 2 brass t pieces which can be had from demon tweeks.
Banny

Cor, there not cheap are they!
I thought about getting the tank spacers too. Bit nervous about taking the manifold off myself, wouldn't want to drop anything into the holes
Is the fuel mod worthwhile? I've been told that unless you mod the fuel lines never allow the fuel gauge to drop below 1/4 full.
