removing head help
as above i need too remove the off side head can i do this with engine still in car and what is the loosening and tightening order and torque settings the car is a 98 uk 2000 with 22 heads and inlet on please help .thanks in advance

If you are removing it as the had gasket has blown, you'll need to do the other side as well. !!!! I recently did my head gaskets, it is much easier to rent an engine hoist and pull out the engine, you can check the clutch at the same time. Easily done over the weekend. The head torque values are a mixture of initial torque values then they move over to degrees for the final tightening down, Its all on the Saxonfield manual site for free download also the Roger Clark web site has downloadable manuals, search manuals on the scooby site and you'll have a list. You'll need a degree disk. If you can't find the order PM me and I'll look in the garage for the ones I used

Its eaiser to take engine out and you will have to remove CAMS to get at the head bolts. im new to this as im rebuilding my engine but the guys on this forum will help you just give them a chance lol,

sorry i have reply sooner iv been under a bonet for 2 days it was not gaskets it was the previos owner sheard 2 bottom rocker bolt and 1oil seal bolt the silicon he put on worked for 1 day big oil leak head off to be drilled and tapped all back on know thanks for help good advice . mark
