My impreza is refusing to start The AA guy seemed to think it was the fuel pump.

Does any one know how i can test it??

Its not making the normal priming noise when you turn the key.

Or could it be a relay.

can you hear it prime when ignition is switched on?

 

No cant here it prime.

 

check fuse/relay if thats ok then i would presume your pumps knacked if you cant hear it prime.

 

Ok thanks does anyone know where the relays are and what they look like?

 

Iv found the relays. There is a cylinder shape one with a green connector, a square brown one, and another cylinder shape one.

Does anyone know which one is for the fuel pump??
