Default Ej20g Hybrid

Heya,

im sorry if this is a pain i cant seem to find that much info on this at all

i want to try something not many other people do

i am starting with an ej20g closed deck block

i have v5 sti forged pistons
wiseco pins
ej20r heads
race big and main bearings

what i would like to know is can i use ej25 crank and rods to stroke it

if so what crank and rods would be suitable?
and where will i be with the C/R and what cc will the engine be? 2.2l or 2.4l?

i was looking at a set of ej25 N/A rods and crank is that ok im not looking to push it above 350hp as i only hae a td05h 16g atm im looking for a cheap way to get more cc and to try something different

i know i will be told to use the sti 2.5 crank and rods but they arent that cheap here

what are the pros and cons of this?

Think you might find that EJ25 N/A crank has 48mm big end journals and not 52mm as fitted to the EJ257.

ok yea i was tld that it can be done with the NA crank and rods to hold up to 350hp but you need the offset piston gudgeon holes and you end up with 2.1 anyways so not really worth it

thank you anyway
