Default AIR CON REMOVAL

hi im looking to remove the air con system on my 93 import, it hasnt got a belt on the pulley anyway n id neva use it so i thought id lose sum wait, what i really want to know is, is the air con system seperate to the coolant system and the rest of the car, so then i can jus take it staright out, is the gas toxic?, would it need to be taken out to put a fmic in?

yes - seperate to the engine cooling system so can be removed.

thats great cheers, do u know if its ok for me to just release the gas through one of the relese valves on the piping

The gas is not ozone friendly,so is meant to be evacuated/collected by a specialist - but if you happen to release the pressure by cracking a pipe loose slowly by accident,make sure its done in an open space (not in a confined garage).
