my new scoob has fault code 24 which is the Idle air control solenoid, all that happens is occassionally it will idle very lumpy for a little while then alls fine. It also seems to be idling quite high and goes up and down

My question is can you clean these solenoids or is it needing a new one? if so where could i get one from other than subaru dealer?

I tried to clean mine out with IPA, took alot of crap out, but it still ran like poo!
If your going to clean it, make sure you have a new gasket for it 1st (£6 from stealers)
Think these are Stealer only parts at a fair price!!
