Default Advice Please -Pinking! what ya think.

Morning All. slight problem with the scoob. had a few mods done to the car apexi pfc, front mount, injectors etc. was all set up fine. its recently started pinking since i put different fuel in BP instead of optimax once £10 i believe. so was told to put octane plus in, which i did. also i'll mention that when the pinking started the car started stinking of fuel. turnt the boost down and the engine management light stopped flashin up all the time but still felt different. had a look round the engine bay and made sure that all was well. which it was. no pipes split etc. so turnt the engine on after a while on idle it started pluming white smoke out the exhaust. so not really sure whats up now. still smells massively of fuel. knock displays on the apexi hand control has an injector jammed open/ leaking etc? would this cause the pinking/ overfueling problem?? what you guys/gals think thanks

white smoke normally indicates water being burnt i.e. head gasket

yeah i thought that too. but the temp is stayin in normal and its still holding water. also doesn't always smoke only when sitting on idle for a while after opening the throttle slightly. i'm contemplating that maybe it has an injector leak, hence the over fueling and strong smell of fuel from the exhaust??
