scoobies can breath heavy and pull some of the oil contamination from within the breather system, Ive added a little filter( like they add to vx breathers to stop the iacv clogging up with the same problem)

FORD CVH OIL FILLER CAP / FLAME TRAP BREATHER on eBay, also, Ford, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Apr-09 16:09:28 BST)
You could use something like this(blank off the small hole) and put it inline with the LH breather(you could do both sides if you want),
It has a stainless pan cleaner type thing inside, as the air passes it the oil sticks to the filter(pan cleaner lol) and it runs back into the system and the air carries on,
Ive done this with both my classics and i find it a makes a difference.
