front oil cooler and front mount?? Help!!
Hi All
I have a V2 sti classic. It has a large oil cooler mounted at the front just in front of the radiator under the grill/ front bumper, which is linked to a oil filter relocation kit fitted which sits just behind the right/driverside headlight.
I am thinking about fitting a front mount cooler, just wondering if my oil pressure will suffer as the oil cooler will not get direct cold air.
Would I need to move the oil cooler, maybe towards the right fog light area, or will it be fine as it is with the addition of the front mount.
I dont want my oil pressure to suffer as we know the scooby engines are prone to the dreaded bottom end knock.
Any advice/opinions wanted!!
Kind regards
Abs
