Help.. Removing Heads from 95 sti
Is it possible to remove the heads from the engine without taking the engine out? im only asking as i dont have a lifting crane only a jack and stands. I dont even need both heads out just the passenger side as i have had a sparkplug break up inside and want to see the extent of damage before i decide on new engine or rebuild. Or does anyone have a fibreoptic camera spare?

Nice one, im guessing inlet and exhaust manifolds off, cambelt and coilpacks and then just unbolt the head right? Or is there a few other things holding it on that ive missed?

I have done it both ways many times, it takes a bit less time leaving engine in, but is a bit more tricky getting at some of the pipes etc. I prefer to take the engine out myself, as it's a back breaker leaning over all the time doing it in the car, but I'm an old fart!!!
