Default Removing dash centre clock

How do you go about removing the dash centre clock on a bugeye- is it held in with clips and prises out or is there another way to get it out?

Held in with clips, just gently pull it upwards towards the windscreen, should come out pretty easily.

Two rear facing "barbs" just slightly wider apart than the clock display...

Two clips about an inch forward of the back edge.

Two front facing "barbs" on the front edge about an inch in on each side.

YES ! I do have one sat next to my PC....
