hi, all come and joined to get some help! i have a subaru legacy 2.5 auto saloon, 1999. it has developed a gearbox issue that is when you stop somewhere on the brakes without changing back to net it leaps into drive off again or just sits there reving and going no where until you drop back to net then into drive several times. it does seem an intermitant problem, defo worse when cold. i have changed its oil and filter but now have no idea/ dont want to take it to the garage if poss, can get my friends to do and recommender work if needs! it will roll back on hills in drive when cold! and actually cut out last night on revs rather than lurch into moving! any ideas from anyone?
