Default Electric shocks!?

I have a 92 wrx saloon, i keep getting small electric shocks when i turn the iginition off and get out the car and go and turn the key in the lock or touck anything metal. Its definately the car, would it be an earth problem somewhere? Thanks, Dan.

It will just be static build up the solution is to keep hold of a metal part of the car and then step out.

hahahaha, i got the same problem! Hate it, everyone seems to work around it but i am sure its worse than it seems, like maybe wheel bearings that are ****, i dont know!

no, the only thing i can think of, the steering wheel is a smaller aftermarket wheel that has metal spokes, and it would be able to conduct electricity through the column from somehwere??? I'd like to be able to put a controller on the amount you get shocked. That'l sort the theives out!!!
