Default Fuel reg + fuel line questions

Got a fuel lab FPR, 3 port, but one port is blank. How do i hook it up, iv posted before but nobody knew! Heres some pics of my fuel lines below, im guessing the side ports on the FPR are in/out?? bottom is a return but its got a blank plug on it - do all 3 need to be plumbed up?

Can someone identify which pipes are which etc and tell me how to fit the ****!

The top one is fuel supply
the second one down is the return
the smaller one at the bottom is the vent

Are you going to run a parallel fuel setup?

Each of the side ports on the reg are for fuel coming off the fuel rails. The bottom port is for the fuel returning back to the tank.

Not prarallel yet

Right, iv completely misunderstood how the regulator works, i thought it went between the pipe and rail for fuel IN, so

Middle pipe > regulator either side port, then bottom return port to where this went previous?

If not parallel then i would do:

Top pipe stays as is
Remove OEM regulator which is at the end of the fuel rail on Cylinder 3.
Divert fuel from end of rail 3, to one of the side ports on your new regulator, block the other side port off.
Bottom port of your new regulator joins to/replaces your middle pipe in the picture above.

If that dont make sense, then depending on where you are in Howden, i could come home one night that way and show you what i mean.

ps

Side ports on new reg are both IN (ie pressurised fuel)

Bottom port is OUT (ie low/UN pressurised fuel)
