hi mate

i run a 99 turbo with tsl group n back box and decat center section with original cat downpipe and just passed mot with co at 0.120 . could the cat be damaged ?

just put a 3" decat on today so i think she would fail now

just curious as to why, i dont think its a problem with my cat as my mates also failed at the same place & hes got same set setup as me minus the polar chip, mine does seem to be running abit rich with this chip fitted

The chip will run a little richer than a std ECU, but I wouldn't think it'll be a problem... that is, ASSUMING your plugs, coilpacks and Lambda sensor are all working fine!...

ive got 3 brand new coil packs replacing the 4th this month & have all new plugs replaced in the last couple of months maybe worth replacing the lamba sensor now like you say, where abouts can these be got from mate? the chip was brought second hand & was sold as a polar performance chip, the guy seemed genuine but you never know could have a dodgy ebay chip in there, is there a way of knowing i have pictures if scott t could put my mind at rest?
