Hi Everyone,

I have a horrible knocking noise coming from the left hand side of my car. It happens on the slightest of bumps and sounds like loose metal clanging together. I also have a grinding and knocking noise coming from the left hand side when turning left.

No noises happen when turning right or going over bumpy roads, manholes or speed bumps etc.

I have only thought it could be a snapped spring but I'm wondering if anyone can reply with any ideas or any known problems particuarly on the left hand side of the car.

Hope you can help as its driving me mad!!

I have only noticed this now since the car has ad new exhuast and front brakes!

It could be your lower ball joint when goin over bumps and turning right it could be the uv joint end of drive shaft m8t !! just a thought :-)

Can anyone recommend a parts website so I can look into costs of these parts etc? ALl i can find is scrappies and I want new parts or uprated if possible
