Default smoke from the engine bay-is it the heatwrap?

Had my headers ported and heatwrapped.Expecting the wrap to smoke for a while, but after about 100 miles/a week, they are still smoking. Is this normal or should i be looking at something else to be the cause
Cheers

Yes.stll clean. It does smell like a chemical smell if you know what i mean.Smells like something is being burned off as opposed to an electrical burning smell!
This has only happened since the work was done
Cheers for any advice
