I'd go de-cat if it would pass MOT - as mines a 2002 I need the sports cat to scraoe through - Sounds much better on the de-cat but can't be bothered swapping the exhaust for the test.

Same here matey. I would love to de-cat my car as I am running the RCM Team Ice system.
It would allow the burble noise more and also give me a few more horses. But I couldn't be arsed to mess around with changing to a cat every time the MOT is due. Not to mention the DVLA around the Heathrow area and running the risk of failing a road side test if carried out.
I'm sure someone out there could fabricate a quick fit cat then could put it in for test take it out for the next 12 months, Can't be that hard surely???

Yep. That'll be the standard centre cat from a UK model.
